Pasir Ris rehearsal

I believe this is the 3rd time ..
im playing for Pasir Ris Band for their annual concert, VIVALA

Today i attended my "official" first practice with the band.
6 - 9pm earlier @ Pasir Ris Sec Band Room.

Seriously, i have never played with the band before and concert is just 2 weeks later. OMG
It is really side-reading to me for all the pieces. and for all of you guys information im suck @ side-read. I cant really play well now let alone side-reading pieces and than perform with them. I think instead of helping them out, it is more like destroying.



As what law fatt said earlier during our rehearsal, I really have to attend their practices more before the concert on July 11th.

After the rehearsal, we headed to around bedok blk 85 there to makan
i think is blk 89, the malay stall cos Zoul is around. =)

Zoul, Law Fatt , Ian , Shirley and me squeeze into Mr Ng's car. hahas
seriously it is always so fun when Mr Ng is around.

alright. time to head to bed as tml would be a long day.

Epiphany III

Venue: Marine Parade CC Auditorium

Last saturday, Changkat Changi Military Band had their 3rd annual concert. It was quite successful though i guess the hall wasnt fully seated. But at least all the members and the alumni + friends enjoyed themselves.

This year was so much memorable as im pretty much active in almost all the band practices and friends like law fatt , baldwin and mr andy sim joined us. =)

Baldwin is back!!!

hahas.. n he is back for good. no more summer holidays @ SG
Ok im susposed to fetch him together with our good friend Mr Gareth . but someone forgot about me on that day
He was the one who suggested that idea bout a month ago and will let me know the flight schedule again .. but than .. hahahahas =)


Well its alright since we dont have to send him away again.


hmm lets update what i have been doing this weekend.
@ Changkat alumni band practice, we celebrated in advance for our dear 'senior' Zoul birthday.. my favourite Four Leaves - Blackforest cake was bought.

i managed to wake up early today and attend SWS Youth practice @ 10am
hahas
im so proud of myself today cos other than work i dont usually wake up that early.. amazing right!!!
hahahahas .. lalalalala

alot of non familiar faces there but baldwin, ah keow , joeven, shirley and even ching soon went..
After the band prac, we had a nice lunch over at ghim moh coffeeshop and a super long chatting session too ..

I really enjoyed the time spent at the youth practice, it reminds me of those old days spent together with the older batch of youth members.

The pieces r challenging .
n I think it is time for me to improve my sight reading and scales as well


I saw Firdaus with the big spec today. so me n shirley tried on it .. hahaha

my lips r swollen now cos it has been the most 'hardworking' weekend for me out of so long .. hahahahas. cos i hasnt been practising

This week i managed to turn up for Pasir Ris and Changkat band prac on sat n even SWS Youth on sunday. phew~
